Bach, Z Rock, Purple, more

Hosted a fun event today outside in NYC for the TV show Z Rock and the IFC channel. Z Rock is the show featuring the band ZO2 who have been on my radio shows in the past. The show Z Rock is starting it's second season this Sunday night at 11 on IFC. Season 1 was hysterical and I'm sure season 2 will be also (I am actually in episode 7 of this new season playing myself). The event today was a press conference for Z Rock and was to crown the Hottest Rocker Mom. I had nothing to do with the event beyond being hired as the host but it turned out great and was fun. The judges included the members of ZO2 as well as Constantine from American Idol and now the Rock Of Ages show, and my old friend Sebastian Bach.
Bas and I have been friends for 20 years, and even though we disagree and get into it from time to time, we argue like brothers and it's always cool when we hang. Today was no exception, we had a blast and swaped stories all day. It's never dull hangin with Bas! As we left the press conference and walked down the street Bas was stopped for photos by fans. Could not help to mention that as we said goodbye to each other about 6 or 7 fans gathered around us all started yelling at him for a Skid Row reunion. It was pretty funny and something I swear on my kids I had NOTHING to do with! It's also really important for me to note that I have been, and remain a fan of what Skids have done since Bas and also what Bas has done since Skids. I have supported both tremendously. So I just want it to be clear that whenever I say I'd love to see any band reunite on TV or Radio, it in no way means I don't like or support whatever form the band is currently in. I love UFO now with Vinnie Moore, but I won't lie, if I can get the Stranger In The Night lineup one more time I am there big time! Who really knows is any band will reunite some day, but it's fun to speculate as fans, which is what I am most at the end of the day. The ZO2 guys will be hanging in the studio with me on the syndicated show this Friday on Q104. Their new CD is out Tuesday.
